BOOKING PARAMETERS
All bookings - tapings, classes, intensives, consults, and headshots - are for one individual actor. Thrive taping services, coached or not, come with an in-house, trained reader. Our taping rooms are intimate, and it is our policy that only Thrive staff members read with actors, tape them, and coach them (if applicable). Actors who book a session longer than needed with the intention of using that session for a peer actor to tape - i.e. “two for one” or “double booking” - may be asked to pay for an additional session of the same length before leaving Thrive and/or be denied future booking requests. Double booking denies the booked staff member fair payment for their time, training, assistance, technical savvy, tape editing, and sending. Also, double booking equates to two actors using Thrive’s space and equipment for the price of one. Booking a taping (without coaching) and then bringing with you a peer to coach an audition not only misuses the appointment type but also denies a trained Thrive coach the opportunity to coach and be compensated for that skill. Please be professional and respectful when choosing to work with Thrive.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS FOR CLASSES, INTENSIVES, PRO-CHATS, & CAMPS
Clients registering for a camp, class, or intensive (worksop) with Thrive Acting Hive, LLC have a 24-hour grace period in which to cancel a registration for a complete refund. Clients cancelling a registration 15-21 days before the start of an event will be refunded 50% of payment. Clients who cancel within 14 days of the start of an event will forfeit 100% of the payment. There are no refunds, credits, nor monetary exceptions for clients missing, dropping, or arriving late to camps, classes, and intensives even if one’s personal schedule changes post-registration.
Thrive’s instructors, tapers, coaches, and guest speakers are all working pros. Thus, session leadership could change at any time with a management-approved, professional substitute taking over without change to the Thrive curriculum or plan for a particular session. No credits or refunds will be given for the presence of a substitute teacher.
In the event of a quarantine or equivalent status quo, classes and intensives will continue virtually via Zoom. The cancellation policy for in-person bookings will apply.
CANCELLATIONS FOR TAPINGS, CONSULTS, and HEADSHOTS
Thrive Acting Hive, LLC has a 24-hour cancellation policy for appointment-based services. If the appointment is canceled before 24-hours, 100% of the purchase will be refunded. If the appointment is canceled within the 24-hour window, 100% of the payment will be forfeited. Note: if a session is booked same-day (and therefore already in the cancellation window) and then canceled, payment will be forfeited. Clients are strongly advised to arrive no later than 10 minutes before a scheduled appointment to relax and prepare in The Hive’s lounge. For arrivals after the start time of an appointment, concessions cannot be guaranteed, particularly if there is a booking immediately after your scheduled time.
Refunds are not automated for the cancellation of appointment-based services. Please contact the office to receive a refund (if applicable) via info@thriveactinghive.com or (404) 369-3615.
For tapings, actors are responsible for booking sufficient time based on the length/amount of material being recorded.
